A lot has changed since my time writing Blogtown by CJ Gronner. Blogtown Venice began on 9/9/09 as a place to tell the stories about the people and places in my beloved Venice, California. I was always telling everyone about places they should GO …

A LOT of life has happened, and I now find myself back in my hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota on a caregiving journey that has taught me so much about myself and the world. One thing that remains true is that I must write. I felt a little strange about telling other stories under the Blogtown banner, so I’m cutting out all of the letters except GO, and telling the stories of ALL of the cool places, everywhere I go.

I hope my former readers will continue to follow along here, and I hope I’ll find my way to new people who care about fun and adventure and beauty and discovery like I do, and that together we can all make the world a little smaller, and a little nicer - especially in the crazy times we now find ourselves in. We’ll be here for each other.

I like auspicious beginnings, and though this is the soft launch of Go!, I wanted it to be on a cool date … like 7/7/2+5 is 7! Let’s GO!
